Terms of Use

Last updated: 14 October 2026

The short version

1. Who we are, and agreeing to these terms

MeshMolded (this website and its design studio, the "service") is run by an independent maker based in the European Union and offered worldwide ("we", "us"; contact: meshmolded@gmail.com). By using the service or creating an account you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

You must be at least 16 years old, or have a parent's or guardian's permission, to create an account.

MeshMolded is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Bambu Lab or MakerWorld. Their names and products belong to their owners.

2. The service

MeshMolded turns a picture, a shape or an emoji into a design for a 3D-printed mesh ornament or treat box, with molds and connectors. You can design and preview for free, without an account. Downloading the print files (3MF) needs an account with a plan that includes downloads.

We work to keep the service available and correct, but we may change, improve, pause or remove features, templates or limits at any time.

3. Accounts

4. Backer codes and plans

Backer codes come with rewards of the MeshMolded crowdfunding campaign on MakerWorld. Payment, delivery of the reward and refunds are handled by MakerWorld under its own terms; we do not take payments.

5. What you may do with the files

The files are licensed to you, not sold. With a plan that includes downloads you may:

On every plan you may not: share, sell, upload or publish the digital files (3MF, STL or any other format, changed or not), including on MakerWorld or other model sites; sell the files as part of a print service; use the files or the service to build a competing generator; or try to get around download limits, accounts or codes (for example by changing the site's code, automating it or reverse-engineering it).

The MeshMolded website, its generator, ready-made models, molds, connectors, texts and brand belong to us and are protected by copyright and other laws. These terms give you no rights to them beyond what this section says.

6. Your pictures and designs

7. Safety

Making a MeshMolded ornament means 3D printing, heating plastic with a hair dryer and pressing it in a mold. You do this at your own risk and should take care:

8. If you sell prints (Seller plan)

When you sell prints, you are the maker and the seller. You are responsible for the products you sell and for following the rules where you sell them, including product safety, labelling and warnings (for example the EU General Product Safety Regulation, UK product safety law or US CPSC rules, and toy safety rules if you market something as a toy), consumer law and taxes. Do not sell prints as toys or as food containers.

9. No warranty

The service, the designs and the files are provided "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we do not promise that the service will always work, be error-free or secure, that every design will print or form well on your printer, or that a file fits a particular purpose. This does not limit the rights a consumer has by law, including the legal guarantee for digital content where it applies.

10. Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data, failed prints, used filament or damage to printers, or for how you use the files and prints. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the greater of what you paid for your MeshMolded reward in the 12 months before the claim, or 50 euros.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for intent or gross negligence, and nothing takes away your mandatory rights as a consumer.

11. Ending your use

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, abuses the service or puts others at risk; where reasonable, we will tell you why first. Sections 5 to 12 continue to apply after that.

12. Law, disputes and changes
